Pacific Apex Industrial – Edmonton, AB (Homebase, or surrounding)
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright, to fill vacancies on our expanding crews and to forecast future need requirements.
The right candidate for the position will possess a minimum of 3-10 years of direct experience in the Industrial millwright trade, with a minimum of 2-5 years experience in the Agricultural industry is a must.
This position will require you to work out of town for up to 5 days a week.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow the direction of the Regional Manager

Maintain a positive working environment among the crew
-
All Mechanical Maintenance duties
-
Welding
-
Fabrication
-
Basic daily individual safety paperwork (JHAs)
-
Follow all OH&S requirements as well as site specific safety regulations
-
Identify safe work practices and correct and document all unsafe conditions and acts
-
Strong familiarity and capability with rigging techniques
-
Utilize crane to hoist and install mechanical equipment
Qualification Requirements: (preferred)
-
Minimum 3-10 years of experience as an Industrial Millwright in the Grain Industry

2-5 years plus in the Agricultural industry
-
Positive attitude, self-starter with the desire to achieve
-
Ability to communicate, comprehend and relay verbal and written instructions to workers
-
Ability to work in all types of weather for extended periods
-
G class drivers license and own vehicle
-
Understanding of current provincial legislation pertaining to provincial health and safety procedures and fairness practices
-
AWP, Telehandler, First Aid, Fall Pro, WHIMIS, Confined Space
-
*SALARY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE* Salary: $24.00 to $40.00 /hour*
Qualifications/Education

Red Seal Industrial Millwright (preferred)

Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma.

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Evening and weekend hours may be required
-
Willingness to travel to job sites within AB/SK/MB.

Has a clean driving record.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-
Class A license would be an asset, or ability to obtain.

We are seeking experienced professional Industrial Millwrights, to fill vacancies on our expanding crews and to forecast future need requirements.
The right candidate for the position will possess a minimum of 2-5 years of direct experience in the Industrial millwright trade, with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in the Agricultural industry is a must.
This position will require you to work out of town for up to 5 days a week. Some out of province work will be required.
